Here Whiney

So I am sitting here trying to post this post with an 18 month old in my arms....so if random words appear...it's just baby sydnee wanting to say hello. She is now trying to say .... here you want it...but somehow it comes out...here WHINEY! How cute is that? We've been saying uh oh, petty, gucky (The dog's name is Lucky) and other amusing random things. You girl's with the babies are so lucky.

So...update...i'm now a Target team member. I started there this morning. They are putting me in electronics for this wonderful holiday season. I work 3-12a.m the day after Thanksgiving.

It should be loads of fun.

Well that's all for now, baby sydnee wants a cacker. That's her words for cracker.

Love ya'll!

I call my Grand mother

dead. Ok..so before all of you non-mee-maws read that and freak out...

Heather and I were recalling the other day how the MEE-MAWS as we know it came to be.

Can I just tell you that I have laughed and laughed and laughed since we talked remembering that day in the dining hall and getting dirty looks from everyone else because we were so freaking loud.

I AM IN NEED OF MEE-MAW TIME.

So...today begins the count down...42 days and counting girls!

Those roads were closed off to me...while my back was turned.

So here I am in New Hope. It's good to be back to some degree, but my heart has already moved to Georgia. Now if I can just get the rest of me there. I am so ready to be there. So ready to make my "Home" there.

In other news...I now get a discount at Target since I work there for the holiday season. Yay! Since I will still technically be employed there during the mee-maw party...we should all go shopping! =)

I start there on Monday. I'll work there through the holidays and then hopefully be able to transfer in January to the one that will be close to where I am living. I can work at the church stuff during the day and Target at night. Or even work Target 2 days a week and Mill Creek 3 or something like that. It'll all work out.

On a deeper note...get scared...I've learned a lot of the past few days. Last Friday night and Saturday morning I cried to the point of being sick, because I was so scared that this wasn't going to work out. I was freaking out....Seriously. But then as I drove to Atlanta and let the Crabb family sing to me the whole way...I started getting a peace about this whole deal. After being over there for a day or two it became clear to me that God is in control and working everything out, and that I was wrong for being worried. God reminded me that HE is faithful and that HE is good, and that I should get out of HIS way and let HIM work it all out.

Pray for me as I continue in this journey. Pray that I will be able to trust God and rely on Him!

Here it is

wordpress.churchatmillcreek.com

That's our church's blog.

HEATHER - It actually DOES have sermon notes from our first preview service.

Everything here is going great! I'm still in Georgia today! We have had some interesting stuff happen to us this week.

The service went really well Sunday night, and this week they have had been looking for rental space for a church office. We were able to find a large house that can double as an office for us, and I can maybe even live in the HUGE master suite. So...pray that everything will work out for us. That's what I am doing today is getting the details down on that for us all!

I go back to the New Hope today and I am sad. I mean...I'm glad to get to see my mom and family and stuff, but I am sooooo ready to be over here full time and jump right in this all.

I found out that some friends of mine from New Hope are close by though. The both work for New Orleans Theological Sem...they got booted up here with the hurricane and everything. So they are here till March. Shane and I actually grew up on the same block and Astasha's grand-parents go to FBC New Hope. Small world.

In other news...it's raining baby girls. Both my sister and sister-in-law are having little girls.

I'll try and post pics of all this Georgia fun next time I am over here. We've all been to busy it seems to stop and even take any!

That's all for now!

It's me...It's me....

1. Susan yelled at me...so I decided to post

2. Lsu can kiss my ever loving rear end! It was a sad night last night...but Auburn beat Georgia so at least I have some comebacks today to all these Georgia Bull Dog preachers around here!

3. I am currently in Georgia. Last night was our first core group meeting. That's the group of people that are interested in helping start the church. It was pretty fun. I got to talk to and get to know some people a little bit better!

4. With the holidays and such, it looks as though I will be making the trip BACK to New Hope.'ll be doing some secretarial work for them but go home to get a seasonal job until the end of the year. It'll end up saving me money in the end.

5. The Duke's are awesome. Mr.Roy and Mrs.Debbie are the couple that I am staying with right now, and when I come in January they will be the family that I will live with until I can find something a little more permanent. I also had another family in the church offer me their "add on" last night. So that was neat. At least I won't have to get in above my head when I first get here.

6. Pray that I can find a seasonal job FAST when I get back to New Hope on Tuesday....I need money coming in B-A-D!!!

7. I can't wait for Christmas...well New Year's...I'm so ready to see all of you!

The End
